- I received a notice from SSI a while back, that said I only qualified for 75% of the original benefits estimated. So when I am able to retire at 67. Maybe I will get lucky and be able to draw 50% of what I put into SSI. QUITE THE DEAL EH! Glad I am able to put money away now for retirement.
